Reading the site
You can read every guide without an account. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested in order to deliver and protect the site. We may use aggregate visit statistics to understand which guides are useful.
Using the assistant
When you type into the Ask box or the assistant, your messages and the page you were on are sent to our chat service to generate a reply. Conversations may be kept and reviewed to fix errors and keep answers safe and accurate. Don't enter passwords, bank details, identity numbers or health records into the chat.
Partner links
If you follow a partner link, the provider you land on may set its own cookies to record the referral. Their privacy policy applies on their site.
If you email us, we use your message and address to reply.
