About AI Does Help
A handbook for people who want to get a task done, not learn a new hobby.
Most people don't need another list of AI tools. They have a specific job in front of them (a cover letter, a messy spreadsheet, a complaint to write) and want to know whether AI will actually help, which tool to open, what to type, and what they will still have to do themselves.
That is the whole format here. Each guide takes one task and answers it in four parts: the tools that work, a prompt to paste, how far AI gets you on a four-step scale, and the step you still own.
Who it is for
Job seekers, students, people running a small business, and anyone with forms, letters and spreadsheets to get through. You don't need to be technical, and most guides work with free tools.
The assistant
The Ask box and the assistant button on every page open a chat that answers questions about your own task in the same four-part format. It gives general guidance, and it will tell you when a task needs a human or a licensed professional.
